It seems that its mission to become a high quality information source for the #community is appreciated, at least that's how we look at the constantly increasing follower count (> 100, Yeah!).

👋🏻 WP-tooters! I’ve added an additional rule on our instance, which requires bots 🤖 to be community relevant (#WordPress content) and restricts them to reasonable posting behavior (which is for user reports and moderators to decide). I didn’t want to ban them entirely, because we run the #wpbot, but might restrict even more in the future.
Reason to do this now was an actual bot, posting financial advice (not even good advice), which has been suspended.

👋🏻 hello all new WP-tooters to https://wptoots.social! So excited to share #WordPress with you all! Most of you already found the :wordpress: icon. If (and only if) you have community batches on your WordPress.org profile, you can include them in your name or description as well (they are starting all with :wp_). There are even icons for Woocommerce :woo: and Automattic :automattic:

Next project we are working on is the #wpbot, which I hope will be launched next week.
