I think we should not expect anything to come out of #BlizzardEntertainment with regards to #worldofwarcraft classic.

#wowclassic is out since 2019, and the different iterations were not even worth a dedicated website to them. Don't put your hope into this, the true long-term hope for players is them offering licensing so that fan projects and #wowemulation can keep Classic and its spirit alive.

Blizzard of today is a business making money of our spirit. They don't have a soul.

Sometimes one forgets sharing updates while working on new things.

So yeah, I can now render terrain for all of the Classic clients, and even show terrain differences in colored variations.

@jason everything from vanilla to WotLK, the #wowemulation scene provides one for every expansion. How was your experience setting up one?

This weekend I will take a vacation from my usual work topics and dive into #rustlang to entertain myself.

Have two topics regarding my hobby #wowemulation bothering me: my MPQ reader/writer works for version 1 of the format but it should work for all four versions. And directly coming behind is my CASC library… need to write tests but no clue how to handle binary data in tests.
