This is the third time I’ve chosen to re-write this Igor Paixão article. When I originally approached the idea back in May, it came off of the back of the news that Freiburg were interested in Willy Gnonto and that Leeds were open to a sale. Florian Plettenberg (Sky Germany) reported in May that Freiburg were interested in Gnonto via Twitter. Gnonto is an interesting case study among the fanbase.
