I personally use a N95 surgical mask if I have to go out shopping. Over the N95 I wear a 3 ply cloth mask.

Whether you wear one mask or two, one of the most important things is to make sure it fits properly. If you went out in the rain with a coat that was too small or didn't zip up properly, you'd understand why you were shivering and soaked. Same thing here. #WearAMask #WearTwoMasks #WellFitMask

I have been double masking for awhile now. I wear a 3 ply cloth mask with a kn95 filter. After each use I spray with 71% alcohol and let dry. I have several masks now so I rotate them daily.

At the very beginning of the coronavirus outbreak, scientists weren’t sure how it was transmitted and medical workers needed the limited supply of masks. Once scientists learned that it was airborne and also could be spread from symptom-free individuals, they told us to mask up.
Now we have strains that are transmitted much more easily and now we are being told to wear double masks in certain situations. If you continue to listen to the scientists, you will get transparency and accurate information. As knowledge grows and the virus changes, we need to adapt to the changing environment.
If the tweeter-in-chief had been transparent and given out accurate information from the beginning, we would be in a much better state than we are today.
Keep listening to the scientists.
