Inspired by Luke Vibert's Wagon Christ project, Little Trooper picked up the idea of electronic music using quirky and funny sounds in a simple cut & paste style.
Consisting of jazz basslines, funky guitars, and an uplifting vocal cut, Stand Up seeks to capture the feel and sound of the brighter side of electronic music, delivering a real good vibe.

Little Trooper was a side project of David Hanke back in the day, inspired by Luke Vibert's Wagon Christ project. Ten years later Stand Up and Hidden Hatchway are two singles to be re-released from this album. Hidden Hatchway is out today, and Stand Up comes out on July 26.

I think the first Luke Vibert track I was ever listening to was probably 'Get Your Head Down' on a #NinjaTune compilation 🤔
