Which if any in this lot, succeeding the previous #VoidConspiracy work led by our harbinger who has since stated an intent for forever rest, is involved, I do mandate CWs for all releases, even demos.
I spent 2025 working tirelessly with the others willing in this system to help me reconstruct our shared story.
I don't ever really intend nor need to be graphic, there's far better words that allow disconnect even behind CWs
But I take my morals very seriously. We were long dead otherwise.

So, all known adults in this system sans Athena have written #metal since the late teens. Until the Voidtouched / Salvation eras fronted by Lethe, it was fairly easy to tell who wrote what. VT and Salvation had all involved

The original #BassGuitar intro for "Divine Extortion", the last "main" track from the #VoidConspiracy Salvation album, over the early demo guitar. This was, I believe, one of the first things I recorded and used from the #Ibanez SRC6MS multiscale crossover bass that I had just bought.
The final version was much more subdued, but I really liked the reverb on this.
(I really need to clean off my desktop more often. Some of these MP3s have been here for over a year.)

A random thing just found on my desktop. This was an excerpt from an unfinished #VoidConspiracy song called "Sundering" from November 2023.
For a variety of reasons, it won't likely ever be completed, but I liked my #BassGuitar line and tone on this part.

Same here. Collaborating antifascist art over distances using the Fediverse is kind of my thing and exactly what I'm looking to spread.I've never met any of the #ResInt #ArtFED or #BonkWave comrades IRL, but we've produced some cool stuff.
Hell, the #VoidConspiracy have released entire metal band albums using remote collaboration! :hearthands:

I talked about imposter syndrome the other day and while the following thought will always be subject to change given my own esteem at any given moment
It’s really fucking hard to keep up the cognition that I’m inadequate when I work with such talented musicians in the #VoidConspiracy and receive such baller remixes of works that I originally wrote from the community.
Either they believe in me or are bigger masochists than I am. It’s probably not the latter.

Sometimes the music we need is not remotely accessible.
The track I was given last night falls into that category.
I can’t rock to it. I’m, in fact, highly uncomfortable listening to it. But, it hit it hits the feels unlike any song I’ve ever been given.
I am legit shaken to my core listening to this particular remix of a #VoidConspiracy track and each spin is more evocative than the previous.
Sometimes others know us better than we do.

We at the #VoidConspiracy often proceed chaotically because I’m not exactly known for things like planning, impulse control, or an adherence to Order.
On paper based on what I know so far, Damnation will be worth it and a fine bow on the Salvation arc.
We’ve got some old and new guests from the community helping with remixes and there just might be some surprises along the way.

Which leads us to the megaton punch of anything I’ve been involved with: Salvation.
Salvation will end up spanning five artifacts before we turn the lights off on it. A multifaceted concept of both religious abuse and mental illness, it’s the debut of the band and the most highly received cycle of anything I’ve worked on.

Taking a slight detour after hospitalization, the Deathphoria release cranked the horrors of Voidtouched to eleven, albeit as a desolate electronic effort. No drums, no guitars, no bass, just peak despair. I’ve often said it’s not for the faint of heart, and I stick by that. Most notably, the original version of “Nitroglycerin” is on this release.

From there, the Voidtouched release was a 180 in almost every way.
I dropped the distortion effect from the vocals, cranked up the average song length to almost ten minutes, and let loose with the horrors behind these eyes.
It’s a bit of a cult favorite of mine and would begin to show more complicated song structures that would gradually become the norm.

The next logical step in my evolution was to add vocals, and Blood and Blackouts would prove to be my most accessible release with its highly distorted riffs and vocals. I regret the industrial nature of the growls but it was as far as I was willing to go given my trepidation of being trans and singing at the time under my name.
Listeners have often referred to B&B as “essential.”

The first real taste of my musical style would be found in what followed.
Fidelity was a six instrumental metal release where the beginnings of my metal composition style could be heard.
The songs were generally a bit simpler as compared to now, but there are some classics in here that fans enjoying seeing on livestreams.

My humble beginnings were in a weird (in hindsight) release called Hopes and Dreams
This three track mostly electronic romp had flashes of brilliance but I had come to really really hate it over the years, much like Al Jourgensen hated his first two albums
I would eventually re-record two of the tracks as more traditional metal offerings, but I don’t know that I’ll ever not hate this initial release much to the consternation of the band and fans.

As re-recorded by the #VoidConspiracy, this is “Voidtouched,” groove #metal at its best in my not so humble opinion.

Any #metal fans that are artsy looking for some work?
The #VoidConspiracy is looking for an artist to do the album art for our upcoming Damnation release.
The working idea is that it would have an extreme closeup of a human eye with our logo as the pupil and the eye is weeping blood.
Wholesome, I know.

Dug out my #piStomp Core #RaspberryPi-based guitar #effects pedal. This thing is super flexible and powerful--and fun. Unfortunately, my soldering was a little iffy and I need to do some rework before it's stable enough for live use. Meanwhile, it's fun to mess with and customize the sounds. This is meant to be an #AiC sort of sound.
