When it snows, Halo and I have a tradition of walking thru the woods behind my house. It snowed a lot in the winter after I got him and we'd do it every day, so this is like HIS place. We go out this morning and I swear he's jumping around exactly like he did as a puppy. I try to get it on video, but he's such a good boy, as soon as the camera comes up, he goes still to pose for the photo.
He leaps up onto this big pile of rocks and I think perfect! I'll catch him jumping off. But... he was apparently jumping up for the photo (good eye!) and dutifully stands still even as I back away thinking he'll follow me. But, no. He knows that sometimes a good photo requires moving your feet, so he waits patiently.
Finally, sure I'll trip over a branch and fall, I call him down. He jumps off and runs over to me... then quickly finds a new spot to sit for the photo. 😅
What do you think, should I give Vogue a call?
