#Coollab is a FOSS node-based tool for generative visuals. It can be used for #VJing, rendering videos or interactive installations. It can take live MIDI, audio or video input. It's shaders under the hood. Has 2D and 3D patterns, filtering and blending. Particle effects, you can program your own nodes too. Honestly, if I didn't know Godot so well, I would probably use that for my live projector imagery :) It's a bit like #MaterialMaker!

Today I had the oppurtunity to be creative again. Drove 2 hours to Cluj Napoca to set up a 4 projector indoor Mapping on a 9x5meter wall. For the 1st restaurant with Immersive visual experience. It was tireing but also fun. Then a 2hour drive back home. I have to provide them furthermore with some animations. 'Twas a good day.

Live #visuals at a party, for example, is a one time only #experience. You can film it but it won't give the same experience as seeing it live in person. It's not a #painting or a #sculpture where you can get back to it and repeat the experience again. Someone is putting in it's soul and skills to meet the music and elevate the experience. So if you have the opportunity to inhale good #music with appropriate #vjing make sure to pay attention cus you never gonna see that shit again.

Deswegen hab ich mir etwas gebaut, mit dem ich meine Sachen graphisch erledigen kann. Zwar noch sehr im Prototypenstadium, ist aber sogar schon einmal im Liveeinsatz gelaufen. Das war auch höchst aufregend, obwohl nur sehr wenige Leute zugesehen haben.

Hello everybody! We're Pixelflowers, a VJing duo.
"VJ" means we make live visuals over music (usually techno, acid house, industrial, ambient DJ sets). Here we share our weekly livestreamings, videos, resources and techniques about video art, news about dance music culture and technology, thoughts and ideas about how to merge music and visuals. We've been influenced by cyberpunk and hacktivist movements, intersectional feminism, psychonautics, and the sex-positive dancefloor culture we met in Berlin, where we're based.
We're two people, Flo and Pixi, but it's usually Pixi only who writes here. We're both non-binary queerdos with they/them pronouns.

We Pixelflowers make colorful, psychedelic, glitchy live visuals - usually as a "video track" for electronic and techno music.
We use a laptop for loops, and other old-school equipment and techniques: camera feedback, old video mixers, analog video synthesizers.We're looking for artists to connect with, and for moving imagery to play with.
For example, we could create processed/glitched versions of your videos/animations; we'd provide you with them (to reuse as you may wish) and we'd include them in our shows.We're queer, NSFW-friendly and pro-social-justice - just so you know ;)
