There are various little moments of enjoyment in #gardening on the road to harvesting the veg you're growing.
One of those for me is a sense of satisfaction when you've planted your #potatoes in trenches and have gradually buried them deeper as they grew, and you reach the point where the potatoes now grow out of the top of a nice ridge. 😊
My somewhat less-than-impressive first crop of sweetcorn from the allotment 🙂 Only just over half the cob fertilised, but I'm not too surprised as only six plants made it past the slugs to flowering.
