The radio is a little weird (It might be a knock off) - It works fine in VHF/UHF with the Abbree antenna, but will only get the FM broadcasts if I use the stock antenna. It's not just the Abbree antenna, I tried a couple other third party antennas, and no FM broadcast with them either.
My UV-K5 is the same way, maybe it's just something about how they are made, or maybe it's a clone of a clone - I don't really know, I just think it's weird. #HamRadio #UVK58

Found all this stuff on Aliexpress pretty cheap, So cheap I figured the stuff had to be knock offs - but I think they are real enough - or are good enough to fool me at least LOL.
I got all this for under $30.00 and that was with shipping - and not a black Friday sale.
