The US Navy's Seawolf-class submarine USS Connecticut has hit an uncharted underwater mountain in the South China Sea in a rare incident.
The nuclear submarine, one of the world's three most expensive and advanced attack submarines, has been out of service for about five years after the accident for a lengthy overhaul.
