@maelle Nice, I had missed the talk about mutator.
To test input I've started using {CBTF} which was also presented at #useR2026: https://cran.r-project.org/package=CBTF which mutates the input to check the packages, which can help with the "Devil's advocate" approach

@eliocamp on #useR2026 Charlie Gao (forgot his handle here) demoed a working solution with quarto v2. So maybe not that but it is close to be released

This week we wrapped up the useR! conference in Warsaw. It was a fantastic event bringing together R enthusiasts from around the world. The talks covered a great mix of industry and academic perspectives, and I was particularly impressed by the strong representation from the GIS community. Thanks to everyone who attended and to the organizers for putting it together! See you at the next editions!

Quite engaging keynote talk from The Carpenteries at #user2026. The ecosystem of people that make the software and the ( #rstats ) project thrive. The better these people are the more invisible/transparent they appear. Mainly: "Shared code doesn't automatically become shared purpose".

Been really enjoying the userR! 2026 conference so far. First time I make it to this conference. I forgot what it's like attending a conference where one doesn't already have a bunch of personal connections. But people have been very inviting and it already feels like home (especially when surrounded by people who love to geek out on R and stats).

Today I gave a talk, so I couldn't live post (too nervous and went over time). But here are some pictures about #user2026 keynote speaker of this morning and the current session I'm in.

Interesting hearing about how to track success and impact from public funding organizations.

Yesterday I joined two tutorials at #user2026. Both of them great. The first one to learn about maps and geospatial analysis. Despite technical problems Hanrik delibered a great tutorial about the futureverse, with practical examples and its own boxes.
