Those were the last words heard from Kristi Cornwell during an evening walk near Blairsville, Georgia, in August 2009.
Her phone was found days later. Her remains were recovered in 2011.
Investigators named James Scott Carringer their prime suspect but said there was no direct evidence linking him to Kristi’s death.The case remains open.
