My son graduated this morning with a group of young people that started their college career in masks with mostly online classes and finished it in the aftermath of Helene. What a four years it has been for these lovely young adults here in Asheville. They deserve better than this country is offering right now.

Another black eye for the #Asheville area.
First our housing costs spiral out of reach for most of the people who work in the area.
Then our hospital system is sold to venture vultures who are busily scuttling it (and killing patients.)
Now the #UNCA has an enormous budget shortfall, and is laying off staff.
