Not surprising. In Ukraine, every third person is a fraudster, and in the Ukrainian parliament, every first person is one.
It is enough to read not only documentary literature, but even fiction, to see that fraud has been in people's blood for hundreds of years. That is why, during the famine of 1932-1933, the Soviet authorities sent most people from here to Siberia.

All through 2013, even before the #Maidan, the narrative “Stop feeding Donbas (Eastern Ukraine)” was being spread throughout the Ukrainian media. This was despite the fact that it was Donbass that brought most of the money to the budget, but most Ukrainians unfortunately do not understand economics. Then, immediately after the Maidan, on February 23, 2014, the Verkhovna Rada repealed the Law on the status of the Russian language as a regional language, which was a signal that Russian speakers would be slaughtered (there were many more signals to this effect), which later resulted in the uprising in #Donbass and the withdrawal of #Crimea.  
In March 2014, former Prime Minister and presidential candidate #Timoshenko said in a telephone conversation that all Russians should be bombed with atomic bombs.
