I was thrilled to come across this juvenile smooth newt(?) whilst turning over the soil to plant onions on my friend's allotment this afternoon! I didn't like to disturb it more than I had to, so forgot to turn it over to check for their characteristic belly spots ⚫🟠 #UKNewts#Newts#Kent#England
