It happened again: I ordered something from Iceland to the #UK and after waiting for it for more than a week I got a letter asking for “Import VAT” and “Clearance fee” from #parcelforce … £50… what’s the deal with this? They can just ask for whatever they want? How can you anticipate if something will get fined or not?

@thejuicemedia I will not visit the UK anymore bc we usually do this by sailing boat and we have a doggo now. Even a “Royal”Corgi is not allowed to enter the UK by own (‘75 English made) boat. Fully vaxxed and all that, good to travel to all countries around the Netherlands, but not UK. Does our money stink? Hello! It’s 2024 and you need all the money you can get!!
