Timiquizqueh is easy to search up, but since I haven't seen anyone mention it I'll give a brief rundown here.

If the title means "a drum (or drum-led lamentation) for [dative] a protective deity", then the Romanized orthography should be "Balaĝ Lamara"...I could have sworn there was another diacritic when I last checked, though. Any help? #TYFTH #TYFTG #freeformHardcore

Huge apologies to the Mastodon Horsers, but I'm going to have to postpone tonight's Live - one of my migraines started up this morning and though I've been battling through it, listening to NRG/freeform kicks for hours is making it worse.
Let's lock it in for next weekend instead (probably Sunday as usual) and maybe a delayed post or two will be on the site today instead. The good news is that I've got a huge list of tracks to use, including a couple of 2024 promos!

Greatly enjoyed TSSF / Mathew Valente's production stream yesterday in which he recreated Guile's Theme with all of his expertise from Synthetic Origins. It's a deeply involved and personalized process which is hard to grasp without seeing it. As soon as I appeared, he started fitting Final Fantasy IV whenever he could into his commentary. As long as the #SNES lives on in the hearts of man, I will not perish!

More posts on TYFTH tomorrow, but for now an early TYFTH Live announcement - planning a 'best of 2024' set for Sunday evening, 21:00 JST. Might not be as smooth as usual so I can fit everything in, but there'll be at least a few that haven't been mentioned on TYFTH yet!

Big thanks to those who made it to last night's stream at short notice! The set is now up on all the usual places too - the YT version is processing a small edit right now, so here's soundcloud for the time being.
This can probably work as the 'anthems' set I mentioned a while ago - I wouldn't like to predict when the next installment will be, but it'll either be the first play of the FINRG set or (more likely) the great set idea I was given over the weekend.

I was at Mogra in Akihabara yesterday to finally meet and see @Ri_nergy play for the first time - lovely to hear one of the new generation bring such a well-mixed and selected Finnish/Japanese set to a club in 2024.
Not sure of the whole tracklist, but it ranged from Harder Than You Think to some unreleased Ri-nergy, via Nomic and Astraia. Good going in 40 minutes!

Tonight's TYFTH Live will be reworked after all, but probably still on the shorter side - 40-50 minutes, this time.
I also had a really good stream suggestion/request yesterday, so that's already locked in for 015!

Ambitious non-music plans afoot right now, so there isn't much TYFTH time after all - but today I found a recording of one of my favourite CODEX sets, and will be streaming it tomorrow. The intro was used in a previous TYFTH live, so time allowing I might rework things slightly and mix it again.
Either way, it'll be a return to NRG/freeform while I work on the FINRG set. The stream will be tomorrow at 19:30 JST:

Finally back in Tokyo after a typhoon delay, so TYFTH things will be waking up again soon.

Something I forgot to mention recently - I finally sorted out the copyright trouble with Proteus' NRGetic Romancer set and it's listenable again. It first went online years ago so this might be the first chance for many to hear it!

I'm back in Tokyo for a few days, so that means a weekday TYFTH Live! It'll be happening tomorrow (19th) at 19:30 JST. I've settled on the tracklist and it'll be on the longer side - a three-deck set of goa trance with a bit of NRG.
I've also been tinkering with the studio set for FINRG, as well as sorting out some ideas for 014 (which'll be freeform).
In the meantime, same place as usual for tomorrow's set!

TYFTH was down for a while, but it looks like things are back in order - minus the last post, that is. While away I'm keeping an eye on things via my phone but will at least have a try at redoing that last one.
Meanwhile, I'm travelling with my mixing setup and had a first run through of the TYFTH Live 013 set! 90mins of goa with some stealth NRG here and there, it's looking promising so far.

In the meantime, some good news! Another Full Circle DJs set from NRGetic Romancer has just gone online, and in decent quality as it was the mixed part of the Live PA. Sadly it doesn't include Yousuke's guitar and Buzz's percussion, but it's another one of their best sets.

A quick TYFTH Live update again - annoyingly there are just a couple of tracks I'd like to add in the middle for it to be ready, but it won't be happening before I leave. Being away from TYFTH Towers for most of this month is the tricky part, but it'll go online as a set or stream asap.
