Well, shit. With everything that's been going on, I haven't felt up to playing games. So, I haven't finished Final Fantasy IV... I've made it pretty far, though. (I think I'm two dungeons from the end 🤔) I'll have to come back to it in a little while to finish it. I've had some thoughts along the way, though:
- I like that almost every chest with good stuff has monsters inside. It's a cool way of building anticipation
- I also like that every world has difficult, optional dungeons that are just out in the open. It's like you can choose to challenge yourself or just play the story
- I didn't realize that this game has a SPACE WHALE as the last(?) airship. I fucking love flying whales :skullhearts:
- FuSoYa sucks assssss

I’ve been playing the Final Fantasy 4 3D remake on Apple Arcade, and I genuinely don’t understand who it’s for. It has the same gameplay as the original (except for adding an autofight mode), with absolutely no handholding, so you’d think it’s for fans of the original. But it has these ugly graphics and character designs that are just hideous, and you’d think fans of the original would prefer the pixel art. So who wanted this? #finalFantasy #ff4
