El 5 de mayo se publicaron el Proceso de Evaluación Ordinaria del Desempeño Judicial y los Métodos de Evaluación del Desempeño Judicial en el Boletín Judicial.

Ante las 132 personas juzgadoras y magistradas electas por voto popular que forman parte del Poder Judicial (PJ) de la ciudad de México (Cdmx), en presencia del magistrado-presidente del Tribunal Superior de Justicia Local (TSJ) Rafael Guerra Álvarez; del presidente del Órgano de Administración Judicial (OAJ), magistrado Jorge Guerrero Meléndez; y las 5 magistraturas del Tribunal de Disciplina Judicial (TDJ), el titular del Órgano de Evaluación del Desempeño Judicial, Israel Sandoval Jiménez, presentó los parámetros para la evaluación del desempeño judicial.
La Comisión de Evaluación y Seguimiento está conformada por 3 magistraturas del TDJ, el magistrado Diego Armando Guerrero García como presidente de la misma, el magistrado Nicolás Jerónimo Alejo y la magistrada Ixchel Saraí Álzaga Alcántara.
Guerra Álvarez sostuvo que la evaluación permite identificar fortalezas, corregir áreas de oportunidad y asegurar que la actuación y decisiones judiciales se apeguen a los principios constitucionales y a los derechos humanos; por ello, este proceso debe verse como una herramienta indispensable para garantizar una impartición de justicia ética, transparente, imparcial y profesional.
Jerónimo Alejo refirió que las evaluaciones serán estrictas, integrales y técnicamente completas, desarrolladas bajo criterios de imparcialidad absoluta, sin privilegios y consideraciones personales. A su vez, enfatizó que, como parte de las funciones del Tribunal, la evaluación es una función inherente a la función pública, así como un mecanismo indispensable para fortalecer la credibilidad institucional. –sn–
