Australia needs a real leader - like Trump. The biggest news today was Trump’s speech accepting the Republican Party’s nomination for President. It felt like more like a Presidential election victory speech, because it most likely was. Watching that speech today, made me pine for a better time. Hearing a wistful Trump tell the story of the last four years, from the advent of COVID to his attempted murder, the cheating, the lies the insane lengths the Democrats, RINOs, the whole establishment from big tech to the media would go to – just to stop him. It made me reflect on what we have lost in the West, rule of law, innocent until proven guilty, respect for alternative opinions, the right to bodily autonomy, justice, the ability to walk in peace with our faces uncovered and our minds open to possibility, to hope. It appears to me that we have lost rational thought, free debate and any concept of what science even is. Biden’s utterly feckless term as President is the cherry on a cake being baked for decades. The establishment has been cooking it since before I was born. Pragmatism, apathy, distracted by the football and reality TV, we came to embrace underhandedness over fair play. Honor ceased to reside in the quality character, but instead in wealth at any cost, at winning regardless of outcome. While our institutions still exist, they have been corrupted, hollowed and staffed with insiders, who protect the establishment’s machine. Once to the benefit of the public, the Government: its institutions, its apparatus is now posed entirely against the people. Her free citizens, her taxpayers, those pillars that hold up the weight of the darkening and growing state. So large and dark now it almost blocks the sun. Today, a reflecting Trump was again a glimmer of light shining through, hope in the darkness, warmth in the cold. But that’s America. America matters to us, it is our big brother, it is the leader of our (once) free corner of the earth, the whole earth. America has no doubt lost its way in almost every way it could, especially foreign policy and that hurts us all. Trump will reset her course, things will brighten, I am not suggesting this is all Bidens fault, many lobbyists want it this way. It is precisely why Trump has had so much to overcome. In his victory today he has summited, he is not in gaol, he is not disgraced and notably he is not dead. The Western world, the hope, freedom, the great illumination the light of Lady Liberty’s torch is held right there in the USA and Trump is the embodiment of the free, brave man who stands tall in defence of the weak, in the face of the great conspiracy articulated by JFK: “For we are opposed around the world by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy that relies primarily on covert means for expanding its sphere of influence--on infiltration instead of invasion, on subversion instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free choice, on guerrillas by night instead of armies by day. It is a system which has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific and political operations. Its preparations are concealed, not published. Its mistakes are buried, not headlined. Its dissenters are silenced, not praised. No expenditure is questioned, no rumor is printed, no secret is revealed. It conducts the Cold War, in short, with a war-time discipline no democracy would ever hope or wish to match.” – John Fitzgerald Kennedy They shot JFK and they almost shot Donald Trump. Almost. A machine that stepped out and killed a president, kicking off what was the wildest decline into dystopia in modern history, has been book ended. They missed. Good. Trump brings leadership. From out of the depths of despair he promises a wild and rapid resurgence. But that is in America. They have a leader. We have Albanese, hardly worth mentioning really. Utterly hopeless. Our big brother is about to shake off the doldrums and I want to go with them into a bolder, freer and more prosperous future. The time is now, step-up, step-out. Lead, follow or get out of the way, we have a country to save, a joyous new world to build - not afraid, cowering in scarcity but grateful in abundance. Come and help, let’s make Australia great again. Let’s restore Australia. #Auspol #Trump #Trump2024 #Trump2024MAGA #Trump2024nowmorethanever #RNCconvention #Albanese #Dutton #USPolitics #MAGA #RNCconvention2024 -
