I'm wondering if getting into gaming through White Wolf books might have made me overly predisposed to look for hidden connections in games. Like, right now I'm doing a read-through of Trinity Continuum: Anima (the new cyberpunk era). Looking at the Ghost Wolves faction (rebel hacktivists), there's a callout to Les Fantomes, the Modern era faction all about daring heists and stylish thieves stealing from the rich and powerful. Direct reference, all good.
