It was a banner #TreasureHuntTuesday for bargains. Found many boring but useful household items, a couple new Avery stationary items, leather cutting dies that I'll give away to someone starting out in leathercraft and a tabletop pinball machine. Today for #TreasureHuntTuesday I found a Wilton Ultimate Decorating Set, fondant rollers, paste molds and rose bouquet cutters for $5.25; a much better router than I have, brand new, for $10.25; a couple purses I am harvesting for hardware for $2.50 and a huge, heavy duty parrot cage for free. #thrift #vintage #reuse #recycle #repurpose

This #TreasureHuntTuesday I found a 7"x14" granite block for $3.85. A 6"x6" block costs $20 at the leather shop. It's used for tooling (engraving) leather. Also a really cool old painted glass & wood sign that said "Harry's private bar. Open 24/7" for $2.40. As an artist I saw how it could be repersonalized for someone else and now the human has a cool sign for her bar that looks like it was painted just for her. Looks even better than when Harry had it. #vintage #thrift #reuse #recycle

Today's #TreasureHuntTuesday is for the tool heads. Found this air brush compressor, in excellent condition, for $28 US.

Found this for #TreasureHuntTuesday for $8.39 US so I couldn't pass it up. Saw one sell at auction for $55.
We went hunting for treasure all weekend. My partner found 7 license plates which is what he collects. He rarely finds so many at once. I refurbish flasks but also collect them & found two to refurb & a faceted glass beauty for my collection. I also collect vintage glass swizzle sticks & found two topped with fish. I love my swizzle sticks because they're fun & take little space. #vintage

Not a lot was found on this #TreasureHuntTuesday. I found a very nice metal bulletin board for the studio, a tortilla warmer and another duplicate ice cream maker. I can now make three quarts of ice cream at one time. I wasn't looking for another but at $2.50 I couldn't pass it up. It'll come in handy if I hold another Ice Cream Social. #recycle #reuse #thrift #vintage

For less than $6 US I found a freezer core compatible with my ice cream maker for #TreasureHuntTuesday so now I can make two *different* quarts per day if I feel inspired. Had an idea to get an extra, in the back of my mind, but didn't think I would find one so soon.
Related: made another quart of lemon sherbet today. Bought oranges and limes so I may go for the trifecta.

This #TreasureHuntTuesday I picked up this pair of vintage glasses for a quarter. When is the last time you found anything for a quarter?

@JamesK On #TreasureHuntTuesday I found a pair of ice molds for 75% off of $3 and picked them up because they were large, have an interesting shape and I had a feeling....
I got them home, cleaned and examined them. They're unusually heavy. I had a feeling they might be clear ice ice molds. I filled them with distilled water and put them in the new freezer. Sure enough, the cubes are crystal clear. Pretty excited by my find. Those things can be expensive.

Another find from #TreasureHuntTuesday is this child's refrigerator. I couldn't pass it up because A: it's adorable and B: I was only $4 US. I am using it behind the deck bar to store glassware and other things it is important to keep clean and dry. #reuse #repurpose #recycle

Today's find for #TreasureHuntTuesday is a mid weight fishing rod and reel in mint condition for $6.10 US. I used to fish as a child and lost that. I'm about to grab it back.

For this week's #TreasureHuntTuesday I found this Bonsai kit for $4 U.S. https://avergostore.com/collections/frontpage/products/bonsai-tree-kit I also got a Bluetooth speaker disguised as a lighted globe and a tiny steel trash can so there will be fewer nut shells on the floor, surrounding my recliner.

I had no idea this was so large when I boight it but, cool! You can use frisbees or bean bags to hit the targets. It can be vertical like this or horizontal like a cornhole board. Scored this for $4 UD on one of my #TreasureHuntTuesday forays. Next I need to set up my frisbee golf set.

My score this treasure hunt Tuesday was this tractor model for $2.40. Some like Legos but these steel models are my guilty pleasure. Helps that I also have a fascination with farm tractors so this checks two boxes. #TreasureHuntTuesday #reuse #recycle

Found a metal plumbing hose to repair my outdoor sink, another Keurig cup drawer that's perfect for holding all my rivets, a roll of upholstery fabric to recover my sofa, a paper towel dispenser for my studio, an extension for my desk, a hanging rack for more books and other handy stuff galore. #reuse #repair #recycle

Today on #TreasureHuntTuesday I found storage. Found a square rolling cart with a large central cavity and lots of pockets that fits all my bookbinding supplies so I can wheel it out of my studio until I need it. Also found three plastic sets of drawers for $4 US each: perfect for out-of-sight basement storage. I also found a set of shelves to hold machines I rarely use until I need them. This freed up space I can use for everyday purposes in my studio. #reuse #repurpose #thrift

On the Cinco de Mayo edition of #TreasureHuntTuesday I get to add to my Revere Ware collection because, once again, someone doesn't know how to clean them. This one cost me $1.80 US. #reuse #recycle #restore #RevereWare #copper #kitchen

Today on #TreasureHuntTuesday I found a projector screen for $3.75 so I can view my Roku projector anywhere on my deck and a woven rattan chest with a broken leather latch for $4.80. Now I need to find someone to fix the leather latch. ;) #reuse #repurpose #recycle

My Sonicare toothbrush died just after I bought six new heads. Those heads are expensive!
Today on #TreasureHuntTuesday I found another brush body. It was charged so I could tell it works but it had no charger. For $4.90 I chanced it. I was able to find my old charger and it works with it! Woot!
Also found another pair of tiki mugs and full set (4) of vintage milk shake glasses to go with my Drink Master.

My big find this #TreasureHuntTuesday is a mid century Bar Aid. It's available on eBay for $29.95 but I bought it for $4. Also found a photographic light box, brand new in the box, for $7. It is currently selling on Amazon for $29.99. #reuse #recycle #cocktails #vintage

Also got a pair of Chillners, which is like corkcicles for bottled beer and the thinnest steel flask I've ever seen, for my flask collection. #TreasureHuntTuesday

Another banner #TreasureHuntTuesday. A few things I got were new (bread slicer, yet another cocktail smoker, a cold brew coffee maker) but also found some good Pyrex, metal pans that fit my air fryer, quirky coffee mugs and some nice glassware. I'll probably make a leather case for the smoker and offer it at my next crafts fair. #reuse #repurpose #thrift

I've wanted a ping pong game for my outside bar and I have paddles and balls but it becomes less fun the second time the ball flies off the deck. Fortunately, today on #TreasureHuntTuesday I found a set with a virtual ball and electronic racquets. The only drawback is, we'll only be able to see it at night. Not a perfect solution but better.

It was a banner Treasure Hunt Tuesday. I found a couple things I have put off buying because they weren't in my budget: an artists portfolio ($2.10 with bonus sketch pad) and a combo magnetic/tack board ($4), both new. The value of these are $22 & $52 on Amazon. Also found a new tall storage bin for my studio ($4), a small bookcase for my cocktail books ($4.90) and a brand new train set for my Christmas Village ($4).
