Atha and Inara are out of HRT, need more batteries and insulation before winter really starts to get super cold, and also fast running out of time to pay for their car loan and credit card bills. Please help!
This week we need to raise at least $2000, and we know most of you don't have any money to give and of those who remain, very few have anything in four figures or more spare. What can you give to help us keep these otherkin, trans, non-binary beans alive and well?
They live in a half-converted school bus to RV project known as the #Vulpibus and are building their lives back up after being forced into #homelessness last year.

Atha is bureaucratically and politically disabled from getting a job for a while.
Inamruzui is partly disabled by POTS and sleep issues. Employment is not a simple matter for them to arrange.Atha was at the food bank yesterday and was given two small shopping bags of canned and dried food for hir and Inamruzui to last a month. Let's raise some funds for the rest of their grocery needs! $300 might be a good start for that.
Let's take another chunk out of Atha's debts! The IRS is being ass, cranking up its non-payment fees. They alone want $860ish. The rest of this part of the request goes to credit cards and car loan and car insurance, with any small change for food.

$373.98/$2500 for debts and bills this week!Then there's the matter of solar batteries: the #Vulpibus systems struggle to store enough energy to keep running overnight in winter.
We need to get them AT LEAST 2 more (ideally 10 more) batteries at around $250 a pop. So $500 (ideally $2500)
Any small change from that goes to cable crimps and mounting hardware.
They also need battery insulation and heaters!Then there's the matter of insulating more of the bus itself. Not only is the insulation itself needed, so is something to hold it all in place. A layer of thin plywood would be good. Also not a cheap matter.
The bus grows heavier as more is added to it, so care needs to be taken to choose lightweight but sturdy things to fit.

It’s International Transgender Day of Visibility 🏳️⚧️ The day is meant to recognize the existence and accomplishments of our trans community and bring attention to the violence, discrimination, and erosion of rights they’re suffering.
I want to remind people that rights need to be preserved in death as well as in life.
When a transgender or nonbinary person needs medical care, end of life care, and death care, it’s often left to their next of kin to make important decisions. What happens if the legal next of kin isn’t supportive or accepting?
It’s crucial to think about uncomfortable scenarios like this and organize legal documentation before it’s needed. A person can record their decisions and legally bypass family members in the next of kin chain. They can assign next of kin rights to someone who will respect their wishes and honor them properly, from using the correct name and pronouns to providing the preferred clothing and accessories.
Don’t wait until it’s too late.
