In October 2022, 62% of votes cast in the #Toronto mayoral election went to right-wing candidate, John Tory.
In June 2022, >75% of votes cast in the in the Toronto mayoral by-election went to left-leaning candidates, Olivia Chow, Ana Bailão, Josh Matlow, and Mitzie Hunter.Did the political views of half a million voters really change that much in 8 months? Or could it be that there's something wrong with the voting system?

I was already pumped about Olivia Chow, but then I think of what progressive mayors like Anne Hidalgo and Valerie Plante have accomplished and I just feel even more excited. We can do this Toronto!

Toronto mayoral by-election polling chart update. Basically, for all the noise, five different polling firms across two months have found a consistent situation. But the actual votes decide, not the polls, so make a plan to vote June 26th!
