Todotxt-cli is awesome.
I can manage my tasks from the terminal, and they are saved in a human-readable text file.

Took some time garden my notes and todos. Made a small dent in the mountain.
Weirdly this felt in completely equal parts mentally exhausting and just a bit satisfying.
Less satisfying than it should have been.
Lot's of good ideas, that I haven't got around to doing in the last 8 years

Long time ago, I made Todour. An application for handling the #todotxt file format. Now I made something similar for the web since I got tired of trying to sync a text file between my phone and my computers. https://todour.com
Written in #rails, running on #freebsd
Haven't figured out yet how to do good interoperability between the webversion and the text version but that is for another day :)

A suivre… -

@BrodieOnLinux Simple is good. I've been toying with the http://todotxt.org/ format recently with much success.
I saved my text file via my email server notes facility; tried a small free #NextCloud with the NextCloud Notes Android app; or an email draft that I can access just about anywhere.
All seem to work well and easy to pull up.
#vimwiki looks good for that next level organization. Pretty cool.

I'm a big fan of #todotxt / #todosh
@proycon has an excellent [extensions] to todo.sh, which I have written my own [front-ends] to. ;)

@hobbsc I use #Vim, but instead of a file tree, it's the fzf plugin, and native Vim buffers. And there's a plugin for #todotxt. Not only does it provide syntax highlighting, but it comes with keybindings for sorting, prioritizing, and marking complete. Admittedly, I still prefer using todo.txt-cli for interacting with the todo.txt file.

Ok, you can say it's derpy, but I take my time tracker stuff so seriously I made my own little "checkdisk" / "fsck"-type function for it. XD
~ $ t check ::: todo check ::: +Project entries OK @____day case OK ::: timetracker check ::: Missing project/context OK Missing @t lines OK Missing idle lines OK Duplicate project names? OK Duplicate context names? OKhttps://codeberg.org/rldane/scripts/src/branch/main/todo-txt
