Then there are the coming grievances. Retaliation, favoritism, racist & homophobic comments, pulling me into meetings to browbeat me… brain surgeons are so fucking stupid.
I’ve never met a bigger bunch of people who are so inept at basic fairness, decency, or understanding simple things that I learned in Kindergarten.

This Friday, my union rep will have the wages & compensation report. It’s looking pretty dire at a first glance. Management has been giving itself raises while we are told “If we don’t like it we are free to work somewhere else”, micromanaged until we quit, and gross favoritism & wage inequity.
I’ve basically called their bluff and painted targets on management’s foreheads. This is going to be explosive. #Union #Teamsters #Tips4Teens
Tomorrow I’m taking my “personal holiday” as won by my #Union contract.
“Why are we getting that?”
I have had to answer this question over and over again because union-repped people in my department don’t read, much less understand why they pay a portion of every pay check into the union they are in. Astounding.
When the #Teamsters said I’d become a lightning rod for standing up to management as a Union Steward, I had no idea how petty people could become. #Tips4Teens
