I would always have said that the #TimeMonster console room was my least favourite, but I think this is worse. It feels claustrophobic. The console is almost touching the wall #DoctorWho #DeathtotheDaleks

I never believe the Master when he claims to want to kill the Doctor. He would have died here if the Master hadn't come to the rescue. Clearly he doesn't want him to actually come to harm (or maybe he's just repaying the debt from #TimeMonster) #DoctorWho #FrontierinSpace

Roger Delgado is really let down by this script. It is the first time I have ever seen him act something badly but not sure how else he could have done this. I don't like this scene at all #DoctorWho #TimeMonster

S9 arguably has the same ending as S8, with Jo saving the day by sacrificing herself. Here it works much better. Jo isn't sacrificing herself for the Doctor (she is sacrificing him as well) but for the whole Universe and because she knows he can't do it #DoctorWho #TimeMonster

I'm sure that this is all very dramatic but I was fixated on wondering whether the Masters time rota doubles as a chocolate fountain #DoctorWho #TimeMonster

Once again Galleia is great in this story. I like her reaction to the Master when he treats her like a "servant girl" and when she finds out that Dalios is dead but most of all I like this scene where she realises her ambition destroyed her whole world #DoctorWho #TimeMonster

After yesterday I was thinking about the three (so far) destructions of Atlantis. The most obvious resolution is Kronos themselves. This is a being outside of time and easily able to account for any possible paradox #DoctorWho #TimeMonster

DOCTOR: That's good. I'm sorry I brought you to Atlantis.
JO: I'm not.
DOCTOR: Thank you.
The chemistry between these two is undeniable. I think an argument can be made for Jo being the Doctors favourite companion. It helps that both actors are brilliant #DoctorWho #TimeMonster

I think this is a great scene as the Doctor finally tells us a story about his past (Jon Pertwee delivers this particularly well). Is Jo the first companion he has felt comfortable divulging this much personal history to? And the story of Lungbarrow begins #DoctorWho #TimeMonster

After learning that this poor guy has been here protecting the crystal for 500 yrs, to be killed by a bull fighting cloak, a karate chop and running through a convenient shiny wall is a little embarrassing. This episode manages both great and disappointing #DoctorWho #TimeMonster

Having watched the #TimeMonster now I'm no clearer on whether this is before or after the #Daemons from the Masters perspective. Any thoughts? #DoctorWho

Galleia, however, is the standout of this story. Her scenes with the Master are great. He could just hypnotise her but he looks like he is enjoying all of the flirting #DoctorWho #TimeMonster

"How about, curses, foiled again?" This has a very Scooby Doo feel to it but I am here for it #DoctorWho #TimeMonster

Dalios is really good, I'm less convinced by Hippias. Still he is turning in an interesting performance #DoctorWho #TimeMonster

Is the Master having Chameleon Circuit problems as well? Is there any story reason the TARDIS doesn't change? Just feels lazy from a production standpoint #DoctorWho #TimeMonster

It is a nice change of pace to be out of the TARDIS and in Atlantis. It is all very amateur dramatic but I actually found this episode fun #DoctorWho #TimeMonster

No one laughs like Roger Delgado. Overall I think this is one of his best individual episodes. Even when Dalios resists him you never feel he is anything other than in control #DoctorWho #TimeMonster

Benton knows that Ruth has no clue what she is doing. He knows that this device aged Stuart 60 years in 2 minutes so what does he do, he leans on it. And people wonder why I don't like Benton #DoctorWho #TimeMonster

"I'm sorry about your coccyx too, Miss Grant. How very sociable of you both to drop in" These three are always great, but even they are struggling now. The last episode was slow but this one is designed to make sure the plot doesn't move forward at all #DoctorWho #TimeMonster

"Londoners!" what is it with this era and these terrible stereotype characters. He has just seen an army convoy blown up and soldiers being taken to hospital and he treats it all like it is the kind of shenanigans city folk get up to #DoctorWho #TimeMonster

"You know, Stuart, for a so-called member of the dominant sex, you are being remarkable feeble" Ruth and Benton have to cajole Stuart into going to catch that bounder/mass murderer the Master. He then picks up a wrench, presumably to smash his skull in... #DoctorWho #TimeMonster

You know that the story has pretty much ground to a halt when I am focusing on Jo wearing boots to blend in with Bessie and the weird auton hand the Doctor has hanging on the window #DoctorWho #TimeMonster

So tonally this story has been kind of all over the place. The ending though when the Brigadier thinks his troops have been killed and he changes from shouting Captain Yates to Mike is perfect #DoctorWho #TimeMonster

"A V1, a doodlebug, a buzzbomb. The Germans used them towards the end of the Hitler war." I don't think I have ever heard anyone refer to it as the "Hitler war" before. It does kind of fit in with the really odd phraseology of this story #DoctorWho #TimeMonster

"Are you suffering from hallucinations, Captain Yates, or have you been drinking?" "I could do with one, I don't mind telling you" This line would have been funny if left here but the next scene just makes the Brigadier look stupid #DoctorWho #TimeMonster

"So, take a felt tip, with a firm grip, and scribble in your colouring book. Take a fork and, a cork in your hand! And swing it round like a Grappling Hook! We make it so cool, here at our Play-School, cut out the Gobbledy-Gook!" Fun but fairly pointless #DoctorWho #TimeMonster
