I'm extremely grateful for #Mastodon and the #Fediverse.
The corruption and collapse of Twitter has been very scary and destabilising for me. I spent 12+ years building up a platform and a network that I rely on very heavily (too much!) for so many things. My fear and sadness has been really softened by having #ThisPlace as a sanctuary and a real source of hope.
I'm so grateful for everyone who has helped to build and maintain it!

i have to say: the fact that #thisplace doesn't have preview cards for links IS A GOOD THING. no preview cards means you actually have to click links! less knee-jerk reactions to headlines/blurbs! you may actually have to read the article! #advantagestodon
