I liked the first one ok, but The Wrong Trousers is on a whole other level.

A fun adventure, and obviously a masterpiece of stop motion, but even apart from that some of these shots are just gorgeous and cinematic.

Still one of the best chases from any Wallace and Gromit movie! I remember seeing an interview with the late great Peter Sallis warning Nick Park about the spare track laying scene in “The Wrong Trousers”…
“You can’t do that Nick! It’ll never work!”

I was recently shocked to find several friends who had never seen #WallaceAndGromit or indeed anything from #Aardman. Please, if you have never watched them, do yourself a favour end delight in incredible craftsmanship and wonderful storytelling. A perennial favourite is #TheWrongTrousers though the others are great too.

And don’t forget to take out some cheese and crackers.

The work to make this is impressive enough but the imagination, especially to think of that spontaneous track placement, is genius.
