#AskFedi: thermometers?
Now that it's heatwave-world, I keep wanting to check the temperature in different rooms! So I thought, maybe buy a couple more thermometers to leave in key places.
However! Reading reviews on Amazon (not that I was planning to _buy_ from there), I see that all the cheap ones seem to have a chunk of low-star reviews describing either (a) how inaccurate they are, (b) how quickly they stopped working.
Can anyone recommend a reputable brand?
And how much should I expect to pay for one which is accurate to, say, within about 0.3 degrees C?
Slight preference for the non-electronic kind, so it won't need batteries and won't eventually be e-waste. But not wedded to that if there's a good reliable electronic one.
