Well, I ordered a #Thermarest Boost bag to try out.
Initial impressions are favourable. It’s roomy even with the Warmzip closed, and luxurious with it open.
And it’s available in a Short size, which means I’m not carrying round extra material my feet will never reach!
So far it’s just been tested indoors, I need to do a temperature test to see if I can get away with lighter 0C version, the one we’ve got is the -6C. But that’s fine, my wife’s decided this one’s hers anyway.

You'll never regret getting a good night's sleep in the backcountry! I bought my #thermarest over 15 years ago and it's stood me in good stead every night I needed it. -
This is the OHs sleeping pad. It is a Thermarest Trail Pro Woman's version. We bought it in 2009 and it still works well. This is testament to the quality of Thermarest.
It does have two drawbacks in a contemporary context: pack weight & pack size. Although the first one is bearable, the 2nd is a pain.
Thermarest did not really have something we liked. We did consider the Nemo Quasar, but we settled to order a Sea to Summit Etherlite XT Insulated. Slighter lighter than the Trail Pro, but packs far smaller. We'll test it soon.
