Okay, so I read the first chapter of The Marshal King. I'm just going to run through what happened.
A gold, mechanical armed outlaw in a steampunk style US old west is introduced. He is about to rob a very steampunk train when he battles his son.
Flash forward once, the son is dragging his dead Dad's body not to gain the reward, but to become a US Marshal.
Flash forward again, the son is a US Marshal going to wokr.
End scene. That's chapter 1.
So yea.
Son of an old west, steampunk world outlaw becomes a cop.
Meh.
