Watching the news pushing the narrative hard, that Joe Biden is too old...
I think of how someone snarked that Trump saying that the media was an enemy of the people wasn't the lie.
The lie was Trump pretending that the press was *his* enemy.
American media made Trump.
If we fall to a weird new fascist darkness, our current media here will go right along and help deliver it.

NGL, #TheFive8 and #RadicalizedPod are the only two weekly live broadcasts that I set reminders for, and try to listen live, and always catch up later if I can’t.
Greg and LB, Jim, Hi-Fi, and Heidi provide me with the lowdown on the most important news plus the sharpest in snark anywhere.
These cats were the best on the bird and have wisely set up shop elsewhere.

Something LB said on #theFive8 last night really struck home. The bird app will change, and not for the better, if it manages to limp along. I've seen it before, too. I saw trolls and hate hijack Tea Leaf Green's forum in its last days, before FB was a thing. I can recognize the signs on the bird app, now that she's pointed that out.
The vibe here is better. For me. So far.
