  5. I feel like America wants to decriminalize being really fucked up. Makes sense. But where's the line? Everyone deserves their own life. What more freedom and liberty than not going to jail for being fucked up. If your fucked up hurts others, though, shouldn't that remain illegal? Maybe not. ....

    I don't think people realize how mostly and ethically neutral American democracy is. It depends on people. America's not a guaranteed vision of JFK's and MLK's lovechild, which would be an awesome America to live in—but it's not this America. And I don't know if half of America wants it to be. Worth a listen. Amazing episode.
