The word 'fantod' means acting uneasy or anxious. It was famously used in "Huckleberry Finn" when Huck describes having "the fantods". "Most Americans have been suffering from the fantods since about 2015 or so."

Of course people at the mall aren't going to take your fruitcake if you're just carrying it around and asking people. What you do is bring in a table, get some of those tiny plastic cups, cut the fruitcake into small pieces, and act like you're giving out free samples. You'll be rid of that fruitcake in no time.

I still read Hagar, Nancy, Garfield, B.C., and Blondie.
