I’ve been browsing my way through the newer crafting books at the library and have a couple of gems. Have a short thread:
First, The Art of Embroidery Design, by Christi Johnson <https://www.hachettebookgroup.com/titles/christi-johnson/the-art-of-embroidery-design/9781635867664/>. It’s a mixture of practical advice combined with exploring methods of finding inspiration. I’m looking forward to exploring the parts I haven’t tried already. (A lot of the design parts are relevant to non-embroidered art.)
