I was just reading the booklet that came with my gastric neurostimulator Enterra. Turns out I need to opt out of going through as many of those security gates at stores and airports and hospitals as possible. At least I have a card I can show to prove it.
I also have to stop using TENS units if I ever go back to physical therapy.
I knew MRIs were out of the picture (but for me, only torso MRIs; head and extremities are still acceptable), but I didn't realize those security gates and TENS units were so dangerous to people having my device!
