Concerning the legalisation of #pluginsolar in the UK, there is one question open (for us) and maybe there is a #lawyer here who can answer it:
The UK "legalized" #pluginpv but didn't change any law concerning the right of #tenants to use it. The guidance simply says "ask your #landlord”.
Is the use of pluginsolar now subject to the whims of the landlord or does UK law give the tenant a right to install it, as its a generally legal and regulated technical device?

The landlord doesn't want to send us the lease to read before signing. Except, they're required to use a standard lease (since RTA 2018). What do we think the odds are they would withhold providing the standard lease lol

It was decided that only collective action could resolve these issues and a group chat of tenants and CATU members was created to progress this.
CATU Waterford plans to conduct further organising efforts with the tenants to build a bigger and stronger group capable on taking on the landlords.
