They’re from a few miles away from our daughter’s place.

So. Next time we’re visiting family, we’ll have to drop in on random strangers we met on the road. Why not? It’s good to meet people.

As a #technomad, I’ve checked into a lot of hotels VRBOs AirBnBs. But the Omni luxury joint in Pitt was a bit overwhelming. Valet. Bellhop. Takes a moment to adjust to not living out of the back of a truck.

Forgot something? Normally, It’s in the truck. But now, we need to get everything into the room to minimize valet tipping.

Yet another thing I dislike about air travel. They can wreck a $600 suitcase and offer you a $250 travel voucher. They’ve proven themselves incompetent. Why would I trust them again?

I did get decades of use from the suitcase. It may be repairable. (Parts are on order.) It’s their “next time we’ll do better” aspect that bugs me. And. Their “pay out of your own pocket” approach.

Sure. The voucher is more than the repair. But it’s non-fungible. Ugh.
