The rainfall totals happening in FNQ in the last week are mind-boggling.
Myola got > 2000 mm in 5 days! That's close to what Cairns gets in a year, 800 mm more than Brisbane's and Sydney's annual average, and nearly 4 times London's annual average. It's a lot of water!
Thinking of everyone up north, what a battering to get so early in the wet season.

Just removed this cootie patootie from my face, where it landed after jumping off the garden umbrella I was trying to disassemble. I didn't even squeal. There are a few around this morning. I guess they know what's coming.
