This old gravestone gives us two fundamental types of symbol, the upper figure is a winged soul as a symbol of immortality while the lower representation of a skull and crossed bones is a symbol of mortality. Year unknown but could be 18th Century.

At the top of the mast there looks to be a beacon or torch. A lit torch represents life, immortality and the everlasting life.
