So I gotta say, reading Victor Wooten's "The Music Lesson" is pretty fun. It's really kind of a fantasy novel with a pedagogical purpose or something. Anyway, the premise is that this stranger kind of drifts into town, and teaches Victor about fundamental ideas about music (of course, it's really victor teaching us). anyway if I were gonna compare it something, it'd be Tampopo the Japanese movie.

Was trying to explain omurice to my daughter and remembered this scene from Tampopo (now I need to watch the movie again after too many years) and she immediately says “oh, I’ve seen someone making that online”. Wenn man die Bildspur der Criterion-BluRay von #Tampopo nimmt und die Tonspur der deutschen BluRay um 9200ms versetzt dazu muxt, ist das übrigens einigermaßen synchron und man hat das perfekte Bild zum deutschen Ton. :ablobcatrave:

(also vermutlich ist es 100ms in die eine Richtung oder die andere Richtung nochmal genauer, aber der Film ist auf Deutsch eh nicht 100% Lippen synchron eingesprochen worden, von daher bin ich erstmal zufrieden)

Ich muss gerade sehr sehr in mich hineinkichern, weil mir gerade klargeworden ist, dass beim Episodenfilm #Tampopo, die Story mit Tampopo die Ra(h)menhandlung darstellt :awesome:

The ending really, really, really emphasizes the most fundamental theme of the whole #movie.
