My local #NHS provider wants me to prove my identity with a passport or driving licence (and within 7 days of receiving a letter from them) or they will consider my complaint closed.
It’s funny because I’ve had several clinical interactions and will soon be having prescriptions from them and yet not once have I ever been asked to prove my identity.
It’s almost as though South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (#SWYFT) are actively trying to dissuade people from filing complaints (something we as patients and the public are legally entitled to do).
This from an NHS Trust with an almost complete monopoly on #mentalhealth, learning difficulties and #neurodiversity services across the region!
I feel a complaint to the commissioner and my local MP coming on (though she’s sadly almost impossible to contact and horribly right-wing too).
