Arriving at #brightonruby . The conference website links to google maps. Look at the way Brighton's main railway station is obscured by a big Toy Museum marker while some smaller station gets a visible railway icon. I literally started route planning in my head from the wrong railway station! (before I opened a better map #switch2osm )
...anyway. Guess I should stop thinking about maps and get my head in #ruby mode now!

Had a nice chat with a candle maker while adding his shop to the map. He seems to have a background in GIS, had never heard of OSM ("is that new?"), but will check it out and put a sticker on his door. Maybe he'll turn into a mapper? #switch2osm #openstreetmap
