'To mark its centenary in 1995 the British Astronomical Association NSW Chapter wanted to build the world’s largest sundial. It had identified three potential sites on the 150th meridian: Bermagui, Lithgow and Marulan.'

Well Marulan used to have a splendid tourist attraction, the world's only public lavatory on the 150th meridian, and the fabled Hanging Gardens of Lithgow on the retaining wall at the railway station are well known. Poor old Bermagui.
