I’ve been kicking this one around for a while, and it might get me dragged, but there’s a certain Canadian social media ‘celebrity’ that’s having a moment—and they do some truly great things for Canada and Canadian communities; I’m not disparaging their work—but their continued reliance on US oligarch-owned platforms to distribute their content (without offering an alternative, even), and their continued refusal to add #AltText to their images (despite numerous nudges) is truly disappointing—especially for someone who, I feel, should have a deeper understanding of the importance of accessibility. #Subtoot

Turns out a "solar lamp" was a pitiful oil-burning, air-breathing contraption and not an electric arc? Where is my absurd excess of blue light and my chemical actinic ultraviolet rays? My stinging corneas? My indoor sunburn and eventual melanomas!?
Be right back, need to pen a rant against manufacturers committing the mortal sin of false publicity. A century and a half ago.

I'm not against breath control in itself. But I don't practice it because one of you fuckers is going to land their ass in jail and my body in a fucking freezer because you're not diligent about doing it safely.
I'm sorry, but you're not. I've seen it. Kink requires obsessive attention to detail. Negligence is for rich fucks who can pay their way out of crimes against humanity, not for us garden-variety perverts.

Am I wrong to think if you are the technical sales person for a product you should, I don't know, read the docs and actually test things yourself and not ask you imaginary friend how it works?
