Everyone experiences times when they are upset and projecting negativity but really, in your eyes, does *every effort* to defend our country have to be scolded and judged as wrong?

Sure our government needs to reajust many of its goals, but how about giving Canadians credit for trying to rally around and protect each other, thus our country.

Without any encouragement, we won't survive as a country, as a national community.

I’ve been kicking this one around for a while, and it might get me dragged, but there’s a certain Canadian social media ‘celebrity’ that’s having a moment—and they do some truly great things for Canada and Canadian communities; I’m not disparaging their work—but their continued reliance on US oligarch-owned platforms to distribute their content (without offering an alternative, even), and their continued refusal to add #AltText to their images (despite numerous nudges) is truly disappointing—especially for someone who, I feel, should have a deeper understanding of the importance of accessibility. #Subtoot

Turns out a "solar lamp" was a pitiful oil-burning, air-breathing contraption and not an electric arc? Where is my absurd excess of blue light and my chemical actinic ultraviolet rays? My stinging corneas? My indoor sunburn and eventual melanomas!?

Be right back, need to pen a rant against manufacturers committing the mortal sin of false publicity. A century and a half ago.
