The last morning by the Caribbean. Some walk, some swim, and some just drink their coffee with their smartphone. #stx2023

I saw two sea turtles while snorkeling this morning. And, of course, a lot of other stuff. #stx2023

When the housekeeper asked if I was going to cook something for lunch, I said, "Well, I'm going to drink something…"

At Leatherback Brewing, they salvaged a cooler from Island Dairies, that they repurposed as their "kick-cooler" that provides all the beer to the bar.

We went to Spratnet, but they were closed for Monday. But the owner, Calvin, was there and gave us all a shot of Papa Juana and then took us to the Cool Out Bar for lunch. I had goat stew with seasoned rice. It was fantastic. And we now have a new place to visit everytime we come back.
And we'll go back to Spratnet when they're open yet this week for sure. #stx2023

At the West End of St. Croix on Sunday, cars and motorcycles cruise back & forth along the beach, blaring deafening music and roaring while accelerating and decelerating between speed bumps. It's the antithesis of #SilentSunday. It might be tedious if you lived here, but is a charming cultural experience for a couple of days per year. #stx2023
