The movie also ended on a cliffhanger, which is typically stupid in a Hollywood that insists every reboot or reimagining MUST be the first in a planned trilogy, the sequels therein ultimately don't get made.
#StreetFighterMovie isn't completely terrible, but it isn't all that good, either. It's a 5 or 6 out of 10 for me, a decent time-waster if you don't dwell on it too much.
#StreetFighterMovie is...a movie. Don't get me wrong. It started growing on me by the end, and most of the cast was great, and there were decent moments.
But what passed for the story is an overconvoluted mess, the primary antagonist was too hammy in the scenes he was in and otherwise barely a presence in the movie let along a threat, overshadowed by Akuma, and too many competing subplots.
If you have the chance to watch the new Street Fighter movie ... skip it, is easily one of the worst videogame movies in history, it can be worst than the live action Mario Movie. #StreetFighterMovie #shit
