Erm... to any Victor Reader Stream 3 users...how in the world do I make it detect epub books on my internal SD card? I've tried putting them in both $VR_Text and $VR_OtherBooks, including inside subfolders, and it just never shows either category. The only way I got the text bookshelf to show up is by putting a text file in there? Halp?
I will also say, what a great out of the box experience for non techies, which is probably the primary audience for a device that takes a tripple digit number of milliseconds to even start speaking a string. Sheesh, talk about artificial delay.
Edit: and today in baffling UX choices...you put them in $VT_DTB. So...all your epub books show up on the "talking books" bookshelf. I...guess that kind of makes sense for epubs that can embed audio, but most of them...like...don't do that, and despite them both being zips with XML in them, epub != DAISY. Ah well, at least I got it figured out at least. Thanks @ricky_enger and @ginsenshi!
